A fan-grass-tic fundraising idea.
Start an aeration fundraiser and raise money for your cause.
How it Works
1. Select Your Date
2. Reach Out to Your Contacts
Promote your fundraiser to your contacts. We’ll provide a black and white poster design you can print, and images for social media. We’ll also set up a web page where those interested can go to book.
3. We’ll Come Aerate
We’ll organize the bookings, collect payments and send a team of aerators to get the job done. After the work is done, we’ll prepare a cheque with your donation amount.
The more lawns you get, the more funds you raise. For Example:

We helped the Lakeshore Optimist Club with their fundraiser and raised over $1,000 in one weekend!

“The Optimism Aeration crew was great to work with. They did a fantastic job aerating the lawns and even found additional leads as they went that weren’t on our list! The fundraiser was a big success and we’ll be running it again in the future.” — Optimist Club of Lakeshore

The Benefits of Aeration
Aeration allows vital nutrients, water, sunlight, and oxygen to reach the grass roots. Here’s how it works:
Before Aeration
Soil naturally becomes compacted from use and winter weather. This causes your grass to have a shallow, weak root system.
Aeration
Aeration puts small holes in your lawn to allow air, nutrients, and water to penetrate the grass roots deeply. The plugs of core pulled from the holes slowly dissolve on top of the grass leaving even more nutrients.
After Aeration
Deeper roots start to grow after aeration. In 6-8 weeks your lawn will have a greener, healthier look. New growth crowds out weeds, and fewer insects are able to survive.
Aeration is best done twice a year, once in April/May and again in September/October. It’s a good idea to overseed and fertilize along with aerating — this additional maintenance helps make lawns thicker, greener and more resilient to drought and disease.
